When Jonathan’s mom Adina emailed me about shooting her son’s wedding, I just couldn’t believe my friend had a son old enough to get married!! Adina and I met in a Bible Study 10+ years ago, and she has been a prayer warrior in my life ever since! What an honor it is to be chosen to capture her son’s special day!!
I first “met” Emiley & Jonathan on a FaceTime call where we were able to get to know one another, hear the story of how they met in Jujitsu class, and their passionate love of Jesus!! I was so excited that we were able to find time for an engagement session before their November wedding!!
Emiley send me photos she found on Pinterest of portraits in a cotton field, and my mission became finding a cotton field to make her vision come true! Thanks to family friends, we were given permission to use a beautiful cotton field in Carthage… and the results are STUNNING!!! Not only was the location and lighting ideal in every way, but these two are simply gorgeous!! And just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, we had the most LIFE GIVING conversation about Jesus on the drive back to town!! I am so encouraged by Emiley & Jonathan’s passionate pursuit of the One who created them and loves them!! They are going deeper with Him and He is truly the center of their lives and relationship!!
Emiley & Jonathan, I can not wait to capture your wedding in November!! And even more than that, I can’t wait to see how you both grow in your relationship with Jesus and one another!! Oh the plans He has for you both!!!
