Mr & Mrs Russell’s rescheduled wedding day at Gatewood Studio turned out to be more than Kristen & Damion could have asked for! Their original May wedding had to be rescheduled due to COVID. This blessing in disguise gave Kristen the opportunity to make changes to her wedding plans to make the day even more special!
Kristen & Damion’s relationship has spanned over 10 years and long distance. They have survived the loss of each of their fathers, have two beautiful boys together, and remodeled a house, making it a home. The words I would chose to describe them best are kind and peaceful. They both have such a calm and gentle presence, and it was such a pleasure to spend the day capturing each memory.
Getting Ready

I arrived at the hotel to find Kristen and the girls closest to her having the best time as they were getting ready!! The sound of laughter rang through the halls as joy filled the atmosphere! As Madison Bilello finished up the girl’s hair and makeup, I found a spot by the window to capture all the beautiful details before they were put to use for the day.

From the hotel, we drove over to B.Gatewood Studio to prepare for the wedding and reception. We started with Kristen’s bridal portraits, which was such a special time for me!! I just love showing a bride how beautiful she is on her wedding day!!
Bridal Portraits

Kristen & Damion chose a traditional timeline where they did not see each other until the ceremony. While this limits portrait time, it is fun to have the extra time with each side of the bridal party!
